HUNTING-PROPERTY IMPROVEMENTS

Build better access for the way you hunt

BrushX helps landowners open hunting access while keeping the wooded character of the property. We clear defined shooting lanes, reconnect trails, open space around stands and blinds, and create food-plot openings where conditions fit. Plan the work around your hunting setup • Improve access to stands and ground blinds. • Open agreed shooting lanes and visibility corridors. • Reclaim overgrown trails and connect hunting areas. • Clear vegetation from a defined food-plot opening. We agree on the direction, length, width, trees to retain, and equipment route before work starts. A marked map helps keep the scope precise. Ground-blind relocation can be discussed as a separate task when the equipment, route, and site conditions fit. Clearing a food-plot opening Mulching can create the opening by reducing suitable brush and woody material. It leaves a natural mulch layer, and roots or stumps can remain. Soil testing, stump removal, tillage, amendments, seeding, and planting are separate steps. We do not describe a freshly mulched opening as a finished seedbed. The project gallery includes before-and-after views from a completed hunting-property project. Common questions Can you avoid the trees I want to keep? Yes. Selective clearing starts with a clear plan for retained trees and features. Do you design habitat or guarantee better hunting? We carry out the agreed clearing and access work. Wildlife use and hunting results depend on many conditions beyond the clearing itself. Can work happen before hunting season? Tell us your timing early. Scheduling depends on the scope, ground conditions, weather, and current workload.
