WHAT TO EXPECT

Clearing the underbrush. Keeping the character.

Efficient equipment. A carefully finished result. Our forestry-mulching machine processes suitable brush and saplings on site, often reducing the need for separate cutting, piling, and hauling equipment or large crews. We make multiple passes to refine the material and spread the mulch evenly for a clean, natural finish. Forestry mulching is a practical way to reclaim overgrown property when the goal is access, visibility, and usable space. Our CAT 265 XPS and HM316 mulcher process suitable brush and woody material in place. Good fits for forestry mulching • Underbrush and sapling clearing around trees you want to keep. • Opening overgrown acreage, fence lines, and field edges. • Reclaiming trails and creating access for recreational property. • Clearing defined hunting areas and food-plot openings. What the finished area looks like Mulch normally stays on site. The result is a natural wooded or trail surface, with the targeted vegetation reduced and the agreed trees retained. Roots, rocks, and uneven ground can remain. Forestry mulching does not automatically produce a lawn, a seedbed, or construction-ready ground. Scope that needs separate discussion Stump grinding or removal, excavation, hauling, finish grading, seeding, and soil preparation are separate services or exclusions unless specifically included in your written estimate. Dense stump fields, large material, steep slopes, and wet ground can change the method or timing. How we plan the work Tell Sean your property location, approximate work area, and desired result. Photos or a map are useful. We review the vegetation, retained trees, access, terrain, and obstacles, then confirm the scope and whether a site visit is needed. A final walkthrough checks the agreed result. Common questions Will you clear every tree? No. Selective clearing starts with the trees and features you want to preserve. Will brush grow back? Regrowth can occur. Future mowing, trail upkeep, or periodic brush maintenance may be part of keeping the area usable. Can you work in wet areas? Ground must support safe equipment access. Some areas need drier conditions or frozen ground. How is the price determined? We quote defined work based on the affected area, vegetation, access, terrain, obstacles, finish, and travel—not the total acreage of your property alone. Based in South Range, Wisconsin.
